As a traveler and painter Chantal has grounded her roots in the path of yoga wherever she has landed. Chantal began practicing Yoga in Miami during her first year in college, than continued when she left for Hampshire College in Massachusetts to complete her BA in Painting/Fine Arts and Special Education. From 2001-2004 she lived and worked in Havana, Cuba as the Hampshire College Cuba Program Coordinator where she studied Iyengar Yoga with Vladimir Ferrerio Gonzalez. In May of 2005 she completed the Prana Yoga Teacher Training with her dear cousin Anamargret , and currently continues to study with her teacher Rod Stryker in the Tantric Hatha linage to complete her Para Yoga certification.
Chantal also teaches teens which challenge her to further polish her studies; they have no fear of asking deep fascinating and honest questions during class.
Chantal hopes to inspire others to re-discover their shiniest self, by sharing her knowledge of art and yogic philosophy.
