Our Homes
Housing will be located on the grounds in La Maison Principal (main house) or our neighboring Masion de Roquefort & Chat Noir.
Our country home was built in 1908. We have now transformed it into 3 room villa with beautiful original stone walls, oak beams and wonderful clarity. You will share a room and bathroom with another guest with separate beds. There is no maid service for the duration of your stay, but extra towels and linens are always available.
This turn of the century home was renovated into an Bed and breakfast in 1945. Maison de Roquefort is a two minute walk from the Maison Principal. You will be able to return to your room with plenty of time to change or pick up something before we head off as a group. You can visit their website at www.maisonderoquefort.com
Chat Noir
The Chat Noir is a guest house run by Janet and her husband. They recently transformed the village’s common hall into a two bedroom home. It has two rooms and shared bathroom, with a grand living area and personal kitchen. Its directly across the street from the Maison Principal and just up the hill from the Maison de Roquefort. Students from last years retreat had wonderful time in the home and with the owners.
Rooms in the Masion principal are available first come first serve and are reserved for those who are sharing a room. Single or shared room accommodations are available in both the Chat Noir and the Maison de Roquefort.
If you would like to extend your stay or arrive early accommodations can be provided in ither location. Please let us know with anticipation if you plan to arrive early or extend your stay.
We will be practicing yoga in the main house in our newly renovated Petit Studio. Hard wood floors and beautiful sunlight will serve us during our morning sun salutations. Moon beams and candle light will create an atmosphere for our crepuscule meditations. We will also have a moonlight meditation outside. For personal meditation at anytime, there is a designated area on the grounds, where silence is always observed & appreciated.
